Linda Edna Cardellini's parents are businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born at Redwood City in California. Linda is of Italian descent (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda lived living in her native San Francisco Bay area, California she was the youngest of four children. When she was ten years old, Linda became fascinated by acting when she performed an instrumental role in her school's Christmas production. Her school productions included plays and in local theatres. Linda went to Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. Her choice was between New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and television after she graduated. Linda chose LA. Linda was cast first as a part in Bone Chillers (1996). The role she landed her first big break as a character in Freaks and Geeks (1998). Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning show.

Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on the 5th of April 1989) is an English actor from England. Her career began in the year 2010 when she appeared in the British television series Just William, in which she was a student at the London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she played the lead role in Cinderella the film of fantasy. She had previously played Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period series Downton Abbey. James then played the role of the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016 and starred several films. This includes the action movie Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 won her the Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards.
