Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country-pop music as well as songwriting, gained fame in the world of television when she was Alex during the final three seasons of One Tree Hill. The series featured her first releases as country music and helped propel her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, the follow-up album from album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. Her decade culminated by participation on Dancing with the Stars. It was released in 2021 as The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up in Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to music from the country genre later on, she decided to make a go of it as a recording artist. However, she first made an acting debut when she was an teen in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead. She appeared in guest spots on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer went on to play Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) and then was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its last season (2012). Later, in 2012, the song was released on Jana Kramer - her first album. The track made it to in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She focused on her musical career without quitting acting, and starred in films that drew her followers including Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. The second album of Kramer Thirty One was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in the month of October 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to achieve even greater success and landed at the third spot on the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing in fourth place. In the same year, she had a hit adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
